Synopsis: “Félix et l’enfant sorcière” follows a man’s quest for the right to innocence. Arrived in Portugal as a political refugee, fleeing political persecution in Ivory Coast, Félix lives in a state of grace. But when he is accused by the Portuguese government of mistreatment and human trafficking, Félix's life returns to square one. The country that welcomed him now persecutes him. This film is a portrait of a man and his relationship with his daughter, whose shared story unfolds through exile, the death of a mother and a sister, an accusation of witchcraft, and the journey to Portugal; but also, the processes of a system unable to address the complexity of certain stories.
